Every web hosting package comes with a free .com, .net or .org Top Level Domain name. There’s no limit – if you purchase three hosting accounts you get three free domain names! We encourage you to read more about this at The Smarter Differece: Free Domains, Free Domain Management.
SSD or Solid State Drives use storage devices that don’t have spinning disks inside them. The benefit is that they can access data much faster then a traditional spinning disk. The downside is that they are more costly per gigabyte. If your site sees heavy traffic and utilizes extensive databases, SSD is the way to go.
If you have concerns about the reliability of SSD technology, don’t. Today, SSD drives have the same reliability and track records of traditional spinning disk drives. These are enterprise grade Solid State Drives, not the stuff you buy at your typical electronics retailer for your home PC.
Bandwidth is the amount of traffic your web site transfers. If someone downloads a file from your web site that is 10 MB, that constitutes as 10 MB of bandwidth used on your account. Uploads count as well, so if a visitor to your site uploads a file, that too will count towards your bandwidth.Bandwidth is calculated every month and resets to 0 on your monthly anniversary.
cPanel allows you to quickly and easily maintain your web site. We run updates frequently and cPanel ensures that your account continues to use the latest security patches. cPanel also gives you great control if you need to segment your account in to smaller pieces, giving you granular control of who can access what on your hosting account. cPanel comes standard on every VPS account.
You can request a VPS without cPanel, however that will limit the support available on your account.
